Dear Ger to Ger Project,
I would like to take this opportunity to show my gratitude to my host families during my 4 day tour of "Five Steps to Become a Nomad." I was taking the trip during early september this year (2007). During my stay I enjoyed Ms. Chuluunhuu's cooking and Mr. Chuluunhuu's kindness very much. He was so patient with my lousy riding skills. Their kitty and dogs were all very lovely. The Amarjargal family had a very open-minded nature and embraced a stranger like me as part of their family. Their daughter was very adorable. They also taught me the importance of helping each other in the nomad tradition. I would like to thank their neighbor teenage girl (sorry I don't remember her name) for giving me her bracelet. It meant a lot to me. At a later stage of my trip, I got a little motion sickness from the ox cart ride and Mrs. Batsetseg generously let me stay in her ger and took good care of me. I had a wonderful conversation with Mrs. Batsetseg and she told me that Ger to Ger Project has helped the herders a lot. I think your project really set up a great example of eco-tourism which aims to be both educational to travelers and beneficial to the community.
Your project makes it possible for me to experience the authentic nomad tradition and learn invaluable knowledge about the Mongolian culture. I felt very privileged to have the chance to meet my host families. The time I spent with them is the most extraordinary memory I had about Mongolia. Enclosed are photos I took during my trip, I would really appreciate if you can help send the photos to the destined families.

This is just a short note to say that Brendan and I had a most wonderful Ger to Ger experience. When we arrived back in Ulaanbaatar, we were too tired to give the trip evaluation the time that it deserved. We are both working on this now and will email this information to you, hopefully within the next week. This trip was my 60th birthday present from Brendan and it was a dream comes true for me. Having completed this trip, I can now appreciate the amount of organization that is required on your part to coordinate this experience. We met so many wonderful people who will always be in our thoughts. We will be sending photos and other moments to our host families. Thank you again for your assistance in making this a once in a lifetime experience.

From 2nd to 7th July this year we experienced your "Quest for the Last Emperor" in Bulgan aimag. We'd like to thank you for this wonderful adventure. The three of us had a really great time. The challenging, authentic and most memorable trip was very well organized. The families welcomed us with open arms, made us feel comfortable and it was easy to forget our normal hectic lives within hours. The detailed preparation we got before starting out helped a lot to understand the herder's way of life and made the culture shock less threatening. Again, thank you for the fantastic time we had.

Just wanted to thank you for helping me have an amazing and memorable trip to Mongolia! I spent five days on your Terelj National Park trip at the end of July, and I can easily say that it was five of the best days of my life. Thanks so much. I'm telling all of my friends about your organization, and I am already looking at the chance to come next year and explore another part of beautiful Mongolia. Thanks again

Thank you for the lovely time we had in Mongolia in May! Last week we arrived home after a six week travel in Russia, Mongolia and Beijing and we both agree that Mongolia, with help of the Ger-To-Ger project was one of the highlights! We went to Boggy and Amra for the migration and had a fantastic time!! They made us feel very welcome and the Mongol phrases turned out to be helpful in communication, although Amra's English was so much better than that of our guide in our first trip through a hostel :) Thanks again for this great real-life experience and I hope we will meet again!
